BLACK FOREST DANCERS CUCKOO CLOCK

Our handcrafted all-wood cuckoo clock showcases a Black Forest couple in front of their Alpine chalet poised to do the famous folkloric 'shoe-slapping' dance known as the "Schuhplattier." Carved fir trees rise above the chalet's rooftop formed from individually hand-placed wood shingles. Heart-shaped cut-outs adorn the red window shutters, while the chalet's facade features a stone-look pattern just underneath the clock face. Hand-carved leaves decorate the base, and the pendulum and pine cone weights are also carved of wood. When the cuckoo calls the hours, one of 12 beloved melodies plays.
