“Crossroads” M.I. Hummel Figurine. Originally modeled by Master Sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1955, our nostalgic find from the Goebel® archives is a true collectible treasure memorializing the border crossing between East and West Germany before German reunification. It wonderfully depicts two young hikers standing at attention with mouths agog as they gaze at the ‘Halt’ signpost. Poppy flowers bloom at the base, while a little birdie perched at the top peers down at the lads. Bottom-stamped with the Goebel® Germany trademark, and incised with the 1955 copyright date. Made in Germany. 6¾” H.
