A huntsman's horn encircles the clock dial with a huntsman's pouch just below framed by additional oak leaf branches. When the clock strikes the hour, the cuckoo calls with an echo effect amidst the sounds of a babbling brook, the Black Forest dancers spin on the balcony, and one of 12 beloved melodies plays.
