“Life Of Christ” Nested Egg Set From Russia. Our egg-shaped matryoshka features different scenes from the life of Christ portrayed on the five eggs. The largest egg portrays the Nativity; the next shows Jesus’ baptism with John the Baptist; the final three are the Garden of Gethsemane, the Crucifixion and the Ascension into heaven. Decorating the back of each egg in lustrous gold foil is the title in Russian of the image featured on the front of the egg. The largest egg is approximately 5” H. Handcrafted in Russia.
