Limited Edition Dresden Stein. Handsome stoneware stein pays tribute to Germany’s 4th largest city, often referred to as the ‘Florence on the Elbe River’ because of its rich cultural heritage. The central panel features the perfectly restored “Frauenkirche” (Church of Our Lady) that dominates the Dresden city skyline in detailed hand-painted raised relief. “Der Goldene Reiter” or golden equestrian sculpture of August the Strong is superimposed in hand-painted gold raised relief at the bottom. Dresden Castle and the famous “Zwinger” Palace are to the left, and the Semper Opera house and the Art Academy Museum to the right. Crowned with an elegant embossed, conical tiered-lid and ornate thumb grip of genuine pewter. Handcrafted by Zöller & Born® of Germany. Individually numbered and limited to 5,000 pieces.
