Limited Edition “Griffin/Archer” Stein. The mythical griffin of ancient antiquity forms the centerpiece of our beautifully sculpted stein. Meticulously detailed with the head and talons of an eagle and the body of a lion fiercely guarding the craggy cliffs of his mountainous domain, the griffin is dramatically portrayed menacing the archers to the right and left drawing their bows to take him down, while a hunting dog at the base of the scene is poised to attack. Unique to this handsome stoneware stein is the chiseled, rock-like texture of the stein body that wonderfully replicates the mountainous backdrop, and the gleaming silver bow that forms the handle of the stein. An ornate filigree thumb grip and embossed conical lid of genuine pewter crown the stein. Made in Germany by King Werke®. Individually numbered. ½ liter capacity. 10½” H.
