Our handsome stoneware stein pays tribute to the romantic city of Heidelberg, featuring a finely detailed raised relief central cameo of the famous castle behind the Old Bridge with the caption: “Alt Heidelberg Du Feine” (Old Heidelberg Thou Fine City) inscribed at the base. Famous points of interest flank either side, including the palatial Renaissance landmark Zum Ritter St. Georg, the castle courtyard, the castle’s gigantic 195,000 liter capacity wine barrel, and the statue of the legendary Perkeo, who purportedly consumed 30 liters of wine a day.
