Our beautiful Madonna & Child is hand-carved from a solid piece of Alpine maple wood, and then hand-stained with gilded highlights adorning the folds of Mary’s cloak. It was inspired by the original Bavarian Madonna, known as the Ulrich Madonna, carved over 300 years ago in Bavaria, and was unusual in its time because Mary holds the Infant Jesus in her right arm. 6” H.
