Musical Black Forest Chalet Cuckoo Clock With Cow Herder. Our expertly handcrafted all-wood cuckoo clock from Germany’s Black Forest features a wealth of magnificent hand-carved craftsmanship. Individually hand-placed shingles form the rooftop while elaborate leaf carvings decorate the roof’s facade, just above the heart-shaped cutouts decorating the balcony, the window shutters and the sides of the cuckoo’s housing. A cow figurine and his young overseer stand across from each other in front of the wooden stone-look wall just underneath the clock face, while a wagon laden with logs waits to be unloaded. Fir trees flank either side of the chalet, and Edelweiss blossoms adorn the base and the pendulum. And when the cuckoo calls the hour, one of 12 beloved melodies plays.
