Polish Pottery Basket With Handle. Our beautiful hand-painted stoneware collectible is formed from white clay exclusive to the Silesian region of Poland (formerly known as Bunzlau), with a unique lead-free glazing, which is applied and then fired at temperatures in excess of 2000°C. This process creates sturdy non-toxic stoneware pieces that are safe for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Our large pottery basket with its wave-like contours along the rim, features bold blueberry designs around the interior and exterior, and Bunzlau Blue patterns along the rim, bottom and both sides of the handle.
