Limited Edition Rhine Panorama Stein. A handsome stoneware tribute to Germany's legendary wine country along the Rhine River in a dramatic raised relief wrap-around panorama against a black background. The central panel shows a vintner empyting the freshly picked grapes from his bakset into a wine cart, while his assistant looks on. Just above the finely sculpted cameos of the fabled Loreley and the Castles Rheinfels and Katz. More cameos featuring famous landmarks of the most popular towns along the Rhine, including Cologne, Koblenz, Rudesheim, Bacharach, St. Goar and Kaub appear to the right and left. An ornate thumbgrip and embossed three-tierred conical lid of genuine pewter crown the stein. Limited to 5,000 pieces. 10" H. 1/2 liter capacity.
