Salt-Glazed Stoneware Salt & Pepper Set From Gerz® Of Germany. Our sturdy salt and pepper shakers are handcrafted in Germany by Gerz® of Hillscheid, utilizing the same labor-intensive process known as "Salzglasur" used in the making of beersteins, thereby resulting in the characterisitc blue-gray glaze. The words "Pfeffer" and "Salz" are hand-etched onto the shakers on the one side and further embellished on the other side with a rich deep blue floral design. Approx. 3 1/4" H.
