“Summertime Surprise” M.I. Hummel Figurine. First entitled “Ich tu Dir nix” in German (I won’t hurt you), our authentic treasure from the Hummel archives was modelled by Master Sculptor Gerhard Fischer in 1989. It bears an incised copyright date of 1989, and is bottom-stamped Goebel Germany. It lovingly captures the surprised look of our little Happy Wanderer peering at a tiny ladybug that has landed on his right hand, while carrying his ‘Wanderstock’ in his left. 3½” H. Made in Germany.
