“The Botanist” M.I. Hummel Figurine. Originally, and more appropriately, named “Enzian-Mädchen” in German (Gentian Girl), our authentic collectible treasure from the Hummel archives lovingly captures a young maiden seated in a floral garden clutching a precious Blue Gentian blossom that was left over from the wreath crowning her head. Note the fine details of the little birdie chirping atop the tree branch next to her, as well as the Gentian flowers ‘growing’ at her side. Originally modeled by Master Sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1965, it has an incised 1972 copyright date on the bottom and is also bottom-stamped Goebel W. Germany. 4” H. Made in Germany.
