“The Pharmacist” Stein From Thewalt® Of Germany. Originally founded by Albert Jac Thewalt and Jean Paulus in 1882 as manufacturers of ceramic vessels for the pharmaceutical industry, Thewalt left the partnership several years later to begin a company making stoneware steins. Our colorful hand-painted raised relief stein is a 25th anniversary tribute to the original company, and features a medieval pharmacist on the central panel creating a potion and recording his results. The side panels are inscribed with the motto of both companies in German, which translated means: “In me is truth, I cannot deceive. Only elixirs of purity, from this stein can you receive.” ½ liter capacity. 8½” H. Made in Germany.
