A rare find from the Hummel archives, our authentic figurine, originally entitled “Krankenbesuch” in German, lovingly captures a young girl’s determination to visit a homebound ailing relative, armed with a basket full of nourishments and an umbrella. Originally modeled by Master Sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1966, it bears an incised copyright date of 1971. Bottom-stamped Goebel W. Germany. 5” H. Made in Germany.
